Tampa's Only Holistically Focused Integrative Women’s Clinic | Tampa Midwife

With our announcement of our newest midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner we are so pleased to roll out Tampa’s first women’s health specific integrative health clinic. Have you been searching for years for truly holistic gynecological care? Dealing with hormonal issues but don’t want a pack of birth control thrown at you? Wishing there was a better way to bring your body back into balance? We’ve got you covered!

Our integrative women’s health clinic is set in a relaxed home-like setting, nurturing feelings of relaxation and comfort. Johanna Lancaster, our certified nurse midwife (CNM) and women’s health nurse practitioner (WHNP) is trained as a holistic provider, offering the best possible evidence-based care to all women, trans and non-binary folks from puberty through the life cycle. Johanna provides patient-centered and trauma-informed care, allowing the patient to choose and direct care based on their needs. She also offers the option for care via home visits following the traditional midwifery model.

Johanna takes her time with her patients, truly listening and explaining everything in great detail, and she always attempts to find the root-cause of an issue before prescribing any medications. Often diet and lifestyle changes can empower her patients to take their health back into their own hands, making medications unnecessary. When necessary, however, Johanna will carefully choose any appropriate medication in agreement with her patient.

Johanna’s goal is to provide all her patients with the tools and knowledge to make truly informed choices, improve and maintain optimal health, creating wellbeing and joy into high age. By helping her patients reclaim their health, she hopes to empower their families and entire communities to live their healthiest and happiest lives.
