Yin Yoga

6:30 pm18:30

Yin Yoga

Adult and mature teens only. All flexibility and fitness levels are welcome! There are fewer poses (asanas) per class- each pose is held anywhere from 1-15 minutes (with props as needed). These poses target the deep connective (“Yin”) tissues in the body, such as ligaments, bones, fascia and joints of the body that are typically not accessed as much during a more active (“Yang”) practice. This class is a wonderful compliment if you already have an established muscular (“Yang”) practice. It is also great if you like a quiet class where you can slow down and surrender. The class is healing, relaxing and takes into account the whole person- body, mind and spirit. Prior yoga and/or meditation experience is not required.

Please bring a yoga Mat- all other props will be provided. :)

Also- this class will be held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month (FB Events will always be created though!).

$10 per class
Two Payment Methods:
1. Cash
2. Paypal- select "Friends and Family" to:

Birth Boot Camp Doula & Childbirth Educator Training

  • Community Roots Collective

We can't wait to see you in Tampa, FL! This will be a dual training meaning there are opportunities to become a doula, or a childbirth educator, or BOTH! Alexa Gumm will be your trainer for the doula portion of the workshop, and Amy Anderson will be your trainer for the childbirth educator portion of the workshop.

We believe that each doula should be equipped to build a sustainable practice based on her goals and needs, and earn a living wage. You will walk away from training being able to identify as an entrepreneur as well as a great doula!

When a new doula builds a sustainable practice spanning a long career, the doula benefits, as well as her expecting families, and ultimately, maternity care is improved.

Birth Boot Camp DOULAS are trained to support families through any kind of birth. They understand and respect physiologically normal birth and are able to use this information to provide superior support through any birth. Birth Boot Camp DOULAS understand there is more to birth than the clinical side. Families are honored throughout their pregnancy and birth experiences with compassionate and professional support.

See the Birth Boot Camp website for cost and schedule information!

Awaken to the Divine Feminine Within

This workshop is a combination of meditation, journal writing, and art. It is for women who are interested in exploring how to use different energies of the four phases of their menstrual cycle to support and enhance their lives. You will create a 9" x 12" watercolor painting of a moon cycle map to be your visual guide throughout the month. You will also receive a monthly moon dial to help you chart your cycle.

Cost: $30.00 All materials included.

Location and Parking: available on site.

No art experience needed. Liz will guide you through each step.

Reservations required. Please send me an email liz@lizhalloranfineart.com, message me through facebook, or pay online through the payal link above.

Payment: online or in person to me on the night of the event. Credit cards accepted. To pay online, click the "tickets" link.

Align to the rhythm of your body, mind, and spirit through meditation, journaling, and art all at once.

Discover your intrinsic creative energies that are a natural part of your femininity through creating a work of art that represents the four phases of the menstrual cycle.

Understand how your creativity is directly linked to your monthly cycle and how to use this knowledge in your life to your greatest benefit.

Learn why the creative process is an essential need for women in order to express their femininity.

*Women of all ages welcome. If you do not currently cycle, you can still apply these same principles using the 4 phases of the moon.

About Liz Halloran:
"Through teaching art classes, workshops, and e-courses, I help people connect to their own creative potential in order to understand their own gifts, attain personal fulfillment, and be more intuitive. My current work is based on images and inspiration from my interest in the Divine Feminine and the Goddess Archetypes and explores the relationship between women's bodies and the cycles of the moon."
