Guided Relaxation

This guided relaxation gathering is a systematic approach using intention-setting, deep relaxation, breath awareness, and visualization to bring about greater harmony in your daily life as a mother along with all the other roles you fill. The transformation to motherhood can be challenging. We will use Yoga Nidra, or Sleep Yoga, to bring a lovely state of peace and rejuvenation.

Moms and moms-to-be are invited to this guided relaxation session. The transformation to motherhood can be a time of tension, sleeplessness, anxiety, and imbalance. We will use Yoga Nidra, or Sleep Yoga, to bring a lovely state of peace and rejuvenation. Research has shown that a half-hour session of Yoga Nidra can feel like 2 to 4 hours of restful sleep. This guided relaxation gathering is a systematic approach using intention-setting, deep relaxation, breath awareness, and visualization to bring about greater harmony in your daily life as a mother among the other roles you fill.

No yoga or meditation experience is necessary as this approach to meditation involves simply lying down and listening.
