Our Monthly Meet the Midwives Night | Tampa Bay Midwifery & Homebirth

Deciding on your birth team is a huge decision and you likely have so many questions as you navigate this overwhelming process! 

We love to cozy up with a family, dive deep into their childbearing history, answer the hard questions, and share about our work. The problem with that sometimes is that you miss out on meeting the rest of our fabulous team. 

Our practice is different from most other midwifery, birth center, and homebirth practices locally. We utilize a two midwife model and this means we don't have 'extras.' There are no 'birth assistants' or 'nurses' who work along side the midwives. We are a core group of 3 (Currently 2 midwives and a senior student) who care for families as a trio. We wanted to make sure families had the opportunity to meet all of us before making decisions about their care and thus began 'Meet the Midwives' nights. 

Every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7pm we invite you to come by The Community Roots Collective for an intimate and informal meet and greet with our Barefoot Family. We have snacks, a short presentation about our practice, and plenty of time for both group and private questions. These nights serve as a great opportunity to not only satisfy your curiosity but also to meet like minded families who are on the same journey!
