Welcome to Our *New* House Manager

We are excited to introduce our new house manager. Read about Amie below and next time you’re here, welcome her to the Roots!

Hi! I’m Amie, stay at home momma to two littles, Thatcher is 4 1/2 years old and Hazel is almost 15 months. I love running and have a small side hustle crocheting baby clothes. I also have a degree in business and experience in the hospitality industry. I became a stay at home mom after my home birth with Thatcher and fell in love with breastfeeding, baby wearing and all that other crunchy stuff. When Thatcher was two we moved to St. Petersburg and soon after I became pregnant with Hazel. I began my search for a doula and in the process came across Community Roots. It was everything I could’ve wanted and more. A welcoming, loving, judgement free zone. I found my people, my lifeline to get through the long, busy but lonely days of motherhood. The support groups, fun activities and educational programs were invaluable to me. As house manager I can only hope to aide in continuing the growth and empowerment that Community Roots has given to the families of this community. I look forward to assisting and creating events and meet ups while providing support and friendship my my fellow Mamas and Papas!
